Carlo Ancelotti wants to stay at Milan O_O

Despite rumours, he is leaving Milan for the Blues(Chelsea), Ancelotti has denied any of them and has said he would like to stay at Milan.
"But I don't think that time has come because the harmony between us is complete, even though the season has certainly not been a positive one."
Milan missed out on a place in the UEFA champions league and they also lost their spot in the last-32 to German side Werder Bremen. We will just have to see what happens in the next few months : )

Benitez: Gerrard the winner for me

LOL...mmmhmmms, Benitez thinks Gerrard is regarded as one of the "best players" in the world. "He would be my vote. If he can continue playing at this level, then why not?"; Rafa was referring to the PFA player of the year where both Ryan Giggs and Nemanja Vidic are on top of the list for this award. What do you think? Who do you think should be the PFA player of the year, please comment : )

Van de Vaart linked with Chelsea

Real Madrid midfielder Rafael van der Vaart has said that he would jump at the chance to link up with Guus Hiddink at Chelsea.
The Dutch dynamo joined Real in a blaze of publicity from Bundesliga outfit Hamburg last summer after rejecting an attempt from Chelsea to secure his services.
"It's flattering when someone like Guus Hiddink is interested in you," Van de Vaart talking to the Sun newspaper."Apparently the coach does not trust me and that is that." I have a feeling I'll have to keep an eye on this speculations....tell me what you guys think =]

Zlatan will continue to stay at Inter? What do you think?

Should I stay or Should I go?

Welll, that is really the question. The sweidsh striker have been linked with clubs such as Real Madrid and Barcelona; both giants of Spanish football. But according to statements made by Inter Milan president Massimo Morrati and the Ibrahimovich's agent, he's staying with Inter Milan no matter what. Despite the lack of scoring in the champions league that lead to Inter Milan's exit of the champions league because of the lost to United, they do not want to sell him. Let me know what you guys think =]

UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE NEWS :D

All over the news, "MANCHESTER UNITED STILL FAVOURITES","United to win for footballs sakes", "United team to beat". People like Beckham(former right midfielder and former united star), Benitez(Manager of Liverpool), Gordon Strachan(Celtic manager and former United player) have all said that United are STILL the team to beat despite their recent losses in the premier league. However you look at it, United's team are strong in all aspects whether its their midfield, defence or their attack. They've got people for every job. Manchester United's next task is Porto...a side who won the champions league a few years ago. Benitez has said United got the better draw. Liverpool on the other hand has Chelsea to play for the fifth straight season(rigged much?) Hmmms...Who you would guys bet on this season? =] Please comment on this.

Manchester City and their black attack xD(no racial discrimination made)

OHH YESSS, Benjani's back!! hahaha, I love this guy....Benjani has been plagued by hamstring trouble this season and made the last of what has been just 12 appearances for City in the pre-Christmas defeat at West Brom. Manchester City's attack have been boosted and are now fighting to regain a UEFA cup spot this season. City are still in the UEFA Cup and are aiming towards their first ever UEFA cup win in the history of the club. WATCH OUT EUROPE, HERE THEY COME!!

Steven Gerrard-A red through and through

Happy Gerrard wants to sign for life
Steven Gerrard revealed he is happier now than at any other stage of his career and is ready to sign a new contract. For all you liverpool supporters out there, you MUST be really happy Gerrard has said this today. hahaha, this is great news I think. Steven Gerrard has been one of the stars in recent years not only with Liverpool and the English Premier League but also with England. I believe he's a great asset to english football. He's a respected player all around. Although the incident about the assault earlier in the year has tainted his great reputation as being a player of high morales xD. here's what he has to say. "I am playing in a top team, with world-class players and I believe in the manager. Going forward, I am sure we can be successful." Soo i say, Good luck this weekend STEVE and the English football team. =]

So now...time for me to comment on some things that has happened during the weekend...

English Premier League:
OK, My team lost...booohooo, you all know we're still gonna win the season haha..
A quote from Sir Alex after the match:"In the first half we never got started. They were lively and got stuck in and we respect that - they lost 4-0 to us a couple of weeks ago. But it's disappointing we didn't meet the challenge. If you lose games in March and April it can cost you. Fortunately we have a slender lead at the moment but not a lot and I'm hoping we come back from the internationals back to our best."
- Sir Alex Ferguson
Outstanding performances this week go out to Danny Murphy, the captain of Fulham and Van Der Sar. Good stuff boys.

Ahhhh, Chelsea...new coach...but nothing changes, yet another lost by Chelsea has seen them 4 points away from United(with still 1 game in hand), I'm surprise with all the money they spend on players, they can't seem to find the net? What do you guys think about what I just said? Please comment.

LIVERPOOL 5-0 ASTON VILLA -> I woke up the next morning and I see my younger brother...jumping up and down, "hmmms" I wondered. My jaw dropped to the floor-Liverpool had just beaten Aston Villa(who i think have improved tremendously due to their new manager-I can't seem to remember his name-that celtic coach kid LOL. Dissapointed I was as i went through the day doing my daily routine of checkin up on Football scores around the world. Sighh....

MANCHESTER CITY 1-0 SUNDERLAND
Due to overwhelming demand on me commenting on Manchester City, here we go...special mentions to City's defence this week for keeping a clean sheet. I believe they're also through to the UEFA cup Finals rounds, Congrats to a team in the verge of success...=] I believe City is a team to watch for in the next few years. You'll see them up there with the likes of United, Arsenal, Chelsea and all the rest =]. Micah Richards; i dont have to say anymore about him hahaa. They're a solid team still growing in unity but they're getting there. Sorry Sunderland. i feel they're gonna be relegated this season. It seems inevitable now haha.

ARSENAL 3-1 NEWCASTLE UNITED
I must say, this was one of the best games i've watched Arsenal play in awhile(NO OFFENSE TO ANY ARSENAL SUPPORTERS OUT THERE). They were tight in defense although they did concede a goal, they were strong in midfield, and sharp in attack. Back in 2001-2005, I saw an Arsenal team so awesome and now, I think I'm seeing it again. Arsenal is a very young team, a good team. Special mentions this week to your Star attraction ROBIN VAN PERSIE, Bendtner, Diaby and Nasri. A diverse team; a young team; a growing team. I believe Wenger has a bright future ahead of him with all the players he has. A quote from Wenger: "It was a good opportunity for us to take advantage and get closer to the top. You never know, even a chance out of a billion, we want to fight to come back as close as we can to the team which is top. We feel we are in a very good run and we are improving from game to game."
- Arsene Wenger
I would've hoped Owen would've started but in the end, he was on the bench and I think it made a difference. Although there was a slight glimpse of hope from the penalty scored by Martins, that was about it. GG Newcastle United this week. =]

ANYWAYS, If you guys want me to add anymore teams for me to comment on. Please leave a comment/ email me at benjiboy_changi_anthemite@hotmail.com.

Anyways. until next time. Ciao.
